First solo trip! Quick 2 day stay in Tokyo.

Hello all! Long time lurker and excited to say, I’ll be a first time visitor soon. I am a bit nervous as this is my first trip alone in country that I have never been to and I am scared I will get lost and miss my flight home. I have a three night, two day stop in Tokyo on my way back to the United States. Does my plan seem do-able? Any tips?

I will be landing at Narita at 8:30 pm. I hope to be able to clear customs, get my bags, and get my 72 hour metro pass to take the Skyliner to Keisei Station, then walk to Ueno to take that to Shimbashi Station. My hotel is about a 5 minute walk from there so I plan on relaxing that evening, or if there are any night markets or places you’d recommend for a nightcap, I’m game!

Day 1:
Walk to Tsukiji Market and wander around. From there, I’ll head back to Nissan Crossing and explore the Ginza area. Then I’ll head back towards Tokyo Tower. I am a Costco fanatic so I do plan on heading to Costco and hopefully find a few items I can bring back with me (Bringing one empty suitcase, but I know I need to be mindful of what I can carry back from Costco).

Day 2:
Take the Maranouchi line to Shinjuku Station and explore and enjoy that area. From there I will head over to Harajuku for a while, then head over to Shibuya.

I plan on grazing on small things throughout the day since I’d like to be able to try as much of the delicious food as possible, but do plan on having sit down dinners and drinks. I know that I only have a short amount of time there, but would like to enjoy what I can without feeling rushed.

My flight leaves at 9:15am, would I be able to catch the train at Shimbashi Station at 6:00 am back to Narita to make my flight with time to check my bags and pass security?

Thanks in advance!
