We are travelling to Japan for 13 busy days.
We are a Couple in our late 20s and this is our longest vacation as of yet.
Last year we made the Iceland Ring Road in 7 days in Summer and we felt it was only slightly rushed, as we were going from 7 AM to 22 PM.
We want to buy ESims via Ubigi(or is it smart to go two seperate Providers?)

We thought we might have something in Osaka or in Kyoto that we wouldn’t get the time to do or maybe we decide to relax a day instead of going somewhere and we reschedule it to this day.
Also we might stay a night in Hiroshima/Miyajima.

Harajuku and Sensoji are on the opposite side of the city. You can take the Ginza Line to Omote-sando but it’s over 30 minutes. You might do Harajuku with Shinjuku as it’s next door and do Senso-ji/Tokyo Tower same day. You can approach it from Hamamatsucho Station which will take you to Zojo-ji Temple that offers a good contrast between old and new.

As for Kyoto, Tenryu-ji is nice but if this your first time to Japan, I’d skip it in favor of Kinkaku-ji.

And keep in mind it’s Golden Week the first real one since Covid so it’s likely to be very crowded in many places especially the transportation. Hopefully it’ll start to thin out a bit by Monday
