  1. No fine – but they’ll destroy it unless you submit a form with evidence that they’re wrong.

Also – you’re most likely on a watchlist now so don’t bother reordering. I got away with ordering football shirts DHGate for like four years with no troubles. They finally realised a few months back and since then all my orders were confiscated and destroyed.

  2. Customs in Kawasaki? Just call them and ask why it has been detained. It could be for a different reason. Don’t mention anything about it being fake.

The counterfeit import laws got stricter from October so any experiences before then are probably not going to be relevant. However, it seems like they mostly are interested in targeting businesses and not individuals so you’re probably not going to get in any real trouble, but as someone else mentioned you’ll probably be flagged and get an automatic search for any other imports from customs now, and I’d guess that if you tried to keep doing it they might pay you a visit.

I don’t know if they do it here but in some countries they’ll also inform the real company about the fake and give them your information. Some brands will threaten to sue you if you don’t pay a settlement, Rolex is famous for that.
