Final Itinerary Mar/Apr 2023 (22 days) [TOKYO, OSAKA, HIROSHIMA, KYOTO, FUJIYOSHIDA]

Had a travel planned to Japan for April 2020 (flights and hotels booked) but unfortunately that didn’t happen, this is our second trial to go to our dream travel (me and my partner).

This is the 7th or 8th version of the plan and probably the last one. Hotels and USJ already booked. But I’m looking to optimize what we are going to do in each place and if I’m covering all must see places. Bought the Kansai-Hiroshima JR pass that is valid for 5 days (will cover Osaka-Hiroshima and day trips and Hiroshima-Kyoto trains) because it will be cheaper.

I opted to make the itinerary with this sequence of cities because of the cherry blossom, luckily it fits almost perfectly with the last forecast announced today.

Here’ a summary of the trip:

(Subtract 0,5 day in each place because of transportation)

|6 days|Tokyo (with day trip to Yokohama)|
|:-|:-|
|5 days|Osaka (with day trip to Mount Koya and USJ)|
|4 days|Hiroshima (passing through Himeji and Day trip to Okayama and Miyajima)|
|4 days|Kyoto (with day trip to Nara)|
|1 day|Mount Fuji|
|3 days|Tokyo|
