  1. Yeah mine didn’t work either. I tried every card. I bought from Disney store. Btw I was thinking about buying at the gate. Do not do that. The line was insanely long even 1 hour before park opening.

  2. Last year we couldn’t get our card to work purchasing online either. We ended up just going to a Disney store beforehand when we got to Japan. I read you can also get tickets at some convenience stores but I am not sure if that’s true, or legit.

  3. Go to a Disney Store in Tokyo, or if you’re staying at a hotel at the park, you can get them from a ticket office at the hotel. I think all park hotels offer this service – and guarantee they won’t be sold out – but don’t quote me on that.

  4. Currently you can’t buy anywhere but the app or website due to Covid restrictions.

Are you trying to buy for the next month? Tickets are released on Wednesdays and on that day you can buy the for dates 4 weeks away.

We had similar issues with our cards and tried Japanese cc, debit cards and foreign cards. The systems just terrible and sometimes you get lucky. However, it’s also worth knowing tickets sell quickly and if you’re trying to buy for the next 4 weeks, it’s likely lots are sold because Christmas/New Years.

  5. Had this exact problem. Rang japan. Apparently only mastercard credit cards work outside japan. I used uvery other aussie debit and credit card and they wouldn’t work. Especially visa. Applied for a mastercard credit card from my aussie bank and it worked first go through the website. They also said it must be a mastercard credit card not debit card

  6. We had to call the bank and sit with the as they cleared it through the system. Was a hassle but we manged to get the before we went to Japan. When printing, we had to print on A4 paper and in color. DAISO is your best friend in that regard.

  7. How’d you get into the country? Or how do you even plan on getting into the country?

  8. Pretty sure I was able to do it with a Master Card. I had to borrow one from a friend.
