Okay for you living in Tokyo, what are you paying per month?
60000-200000 for apartment square footage and quality may vary.
Food I managed 7500 a week or two.
Transport can be reimbursed by employer but my first job was Generally 120-160 one way.
The first year my insurance was like 1000
Internet was 8000
Phone was I think 10000
Utilities varied my water was subsidized and around 1800
Electric for me low usage was probably 12000 tops
Gas 6000
I don’t think I saw a sewer bill.
I’m trying to remember if I had more bills
Going anywhere is a crapshoot between 100 and opps Kyoto flight is somehow cheaper than the train to Kyoto.
Using time off is frown up on outside of newyears and golden week.
Getting sick is cheap.
Expect at least some Saturdays a weird company things.
100 yen shops are your friend.
It’s cheaper to live if you don’t need to buy food. I get 1 free lunch at the school that I make last all day. Weekends usually get the hotdog at costco…so factor in 1200 yen a month for that.
Find a shared house to live at. Gghousing is the website i used
