I don’t have any information but have a question. I have plans to travel to India after 3 years in august. Is it prudent to cancel it ? The company does not allow work from home outside Japan.
**LINE MESSAGE FROM SHINJUKU CITY HALL FROM JUL, 15th**
“From July 18th, the 3rd COVID-19 vaccination (the COVID-19 booster shot) is available without reservation at Shinjuku City Office Annex 1 and Genkikan. Those who are not residents of Shinjuku City can also be vaccinated until July 31st.
Is there any place I can get a certificate of a positive PCR result in English? I would like to keep it when traveling to show I have recovered, if necessary.
My SIL was exposed to covid and may be positive and didn’t know until today. Since we live in the same house she has been cuddling and kissing the baby’s head and cheek. He is almost 3 months old. Anyone have young babies who got it? I’m scared shitless now since he just was released from the hospital last week.
Hi Folks We’re back in Japan, Wakayama-shi, for a few weeks. I think my son might have COVID. We’re trying to source antigen test kits. They don’t seem to be as widely available as back in Europe. Any advice? Thanks
I received a vaccine certificate application form from the ward office. I was vaccinated with J&J twice in South Africa. I know that Japan only recently started to recognize J&J shots as fully vaccinated on their own. But on the application form it still doesn’t mention J&J. Is it even worth filling in the application form and trying to get a Japanese vaccination certificate?
Asked previously, but anywhere I can get a shot without a 接種券?
Thanks
Apologies if this has been discussed, but anyone know when I will be able to get a fourth shot? I got #3 in the US back in November, so my protection is likely waning, and the infections are obviously up.
I got vouchers for my 4th shot in Shinagawa (because I have a medical condition) but I cant make an appointment to get the shot, I think it says it’s only without appointment. Has anyone had the 4th one yet/ knows about this?
Do you have any ideas when is the 4th vaccine coupon is going to be released for people who are 59 and below?
Planning to go home next month for a vacation but I might have a problem to enter Japan if 4th vaccine has already started and I do not have that 4th vaccination certificate.
My 12-year-old son has a fever and was in close contact with someone who had covid; I strongly suspect he has covid so I just called Tokyo’s hatsunetsu sodan center and got phone numbers of local clinics for a check-up (I live in Suginami-ku). But the clinics are all booked up!
Any advice?
Some record COVID numbers today, but the Chief Cabinet Secretary maintains: no movement restrictions.
Had COVID a couple months ago. Horrible soar throat that I never had the first time I had it in 2020.
A little more nervous these days about getting it again. Luckily, I won’t have to commute much after Friday.
I also have tickets booked to the US in September….
I’m pretty sure I have covid. I called the center and they told me about some clinics near me where I can get tested. I’ve been calling the clinics every day trying to get a covid test.
I called the center again today because I’m running out of food and I can’t get the care packages without having a positive coronavirus test. They told me that it’s technically fine for me to go out food shopping because I haven’t tested positive for coronavirus.
