Hi all, my gf and I are planning to go to Japan in early October this year. Half the trip will be spent in Tokyo with the other half being spent in Osaka. However, I’m planning a one day stop in Minobu to stay Kakurinbo Inn and do the hike between Mt. Minobu and Mt. Shichimen. I was just wondering for any first hand experience of being a tourist in this seemingly rural part of Japan. Thanks!

I’ve not been yet but from all the research I’ve done, Vlogs I’ve watched and comment in this subreddit that I’ve read. Rural Japan is a safe place for respectful clean tourists.
