  1. Did I reply correctly to the cashier today?

    She asked me: レシート要りますか?

I sort of got nervous and just quickly replied:

I know I should have said 要りません orけっこうです, but had a bit of a brain fart and was thinking in English “No thanks. I’m alright”.

Does this still work in the context or did I 失敗しました?

  2. **There are a few sentence which used JP teen slangs in this conversation , hope someone can explain to me their meaning.**

(I don’t understand the last part because this character is speaking like she’s a chuunibyou + a German word “闇を切り裂くシュプレヒコールを!”Our sprechchor that cut through the darkness” ??? )**

**2.「すっごく簡単に纏めると、『やばたん★』ってコトですヨ♪」 ( My guess : “In short, i think she meant we’re doomed ” ? but I’m not sure about the meaning of 『やばたん★』)**

    **3.「まじめんご★ でもさー、せっかくのモーニングバスタイムにサガるような話ばっかだからさー、なんかアガる話題ないの?」( My guess : “まじめんご★ = I’m really sorry” ? “アガる話題 = positive/motivational/exciting topic ” ? )**

More context: A bunch of female students are talking about the fact that there’s a curse on them, which made them being deemed as “not qualified to serve a Master” (they’re trying to study to become the professional maids, in a special maid academy). So they’re discussing to find a solution (to graduate from the academy i think )

  3. Grading tests. A student skipped a question and wrote “イッチャッター”. I’m assuming this means something like “I skipped it,” but was curious because I’m unfamiliar with it haha. Also, why katakana? 😮

  4. How would I translate the following sentence?

‘[The medicine] tastes bad, but that means that it’s working.’

Is the following a natural translation?

  5. Coach Koizumi wants Tsukimoto to train with him every morning at 5am. Tsukimoto has been steadfast in not showing up.

Does the bolded sentence mean something like: There exists a player for me to guide, for the first time I am Coach/I can be Coach? Kind of like, I am Coach because this player exists.
