Health Insurance

I moved to Setagaya ward in December. I forgot to register my address at the post office (not the ward office, I’ve already done that) until mid-January. The people there told me it’d take two weeks for anything that wasn’t sending to my address to send. Here I am a month or so later and I haven’t gotten any health insurance bills. I’m worried because late fees suck, but I’m sure they’re able to send me the bills, is there any reason I may not be receiving them?

  1. The ward office uses the address registered with them. The Post Office has nothing to do with it.

Also did you just change your address? Or did you set up mail forwarding? If you did not set up mail forwarding you should go back and do that, as it will ensure that (most) mail sent to your old address still reaches you (for the year forwarding is in effect).
