  1. I spent way too much time thinking this through haha. If I were personally planning this for myself, I would probably do this:

Day 0: exactly how you have it

    Day 1:
    * Breakfast somewhere in Ginza around 9am-930am
    * 10am Art Aquarium when it opens. This is the only place on your list that I haven’t been to, but I’m seeing people saying it is probably going to average around 1 hour to do.
    * It’s about a 15 minute trip if you take the Ginza Line from the Art Aquarium to Hie Shrine. Hie Shrine will probably take about an hour to do leisurely.
    * After Hie Shrine, it’s a 17-minute walk to Hibya Park, with some cool city views. Hibya Park will lead you directly into Kokyo Gaien National Garden, Imperial Palace area. I’d estimate it would take 1 1/2 hours if you’re a very casual explorer who likes to take in every moment.
    * By now it’s probably around 1pm. You could grab lunch in the area, and then take a 30-minute train to Teamlab Planets. I’d say you can build in extra time by just trying to get to Teamlab by 2:30pm. That builds you a very good buffer of an hour to be even less tied to timelines. Maybe, since it seems you’re interested in visual arts, this buffer can help you should you decide to explore the Art Aquarium longer than projected.
    * Get to Teamlab somewhere around 2:30pm, and you’ll probably wrap up around 4:30pm. Teamlab Planets is right next to the Yurikamome line. Take that for 20 minutes to Diver City at Daiba Station.
    * There are a lot of cool places to eat in and around Diver City for dinner. Depending on where you flew from, you might be hitting some jet lag and already hungry (especially from the walking). You could go to a restaurant, explore the arcade they have, and then walk along the beach walk as the sun sets. The view of Rainbow Bridge is stunning. There’s also a smaller version of the Statue of Liberty and a life-size Gundam. I think this would make for a very casual and fulfilling first day, and it’s achievable to probably finish everything by 6:30/7pm.

    Day 2:
    * I would keep this how you have it, though if you end pretty early (by 4pm) and want something to do, I’d say to move Akihabara at the end of that day because it’s much more of an experience at night in my opinion. You’ll also have lots of time to see all of the shops.

    Day 3:
    * Get breakfast somewhere around your hotel around 9am.
    * Plan to be at Meiji Jingu Gaien around 10am.
    * Walk from Meiji Jingu Gaien to Shinjuku Gyoen. These parks are so close together that you can tackle them back to back (next door to each other, really). Shinjuku Gyoen is my absolute favorite park. It’s enormous, so there will be a lot of walking. So many great picturesque views and a cool botanical garden. I take so many photos, and always have to stop at their Starbucks (which overlooks a lake). It would make for a good recharge. For these two parks it would probably take me 3 1/2 hours because I just love it. Meiji is more of a traditional park, but they have a great cherry blossom area and some other small ponds. It usually has a lot of activity from locals, and I enjoy strolling through there because of the good vibes and people watching.
    * You can walk from Shinjuku Gyoen to the Godzilla hotel in about 20 minutes. That would give you a nice chance to walk through that part of the city.
    * Walk from Godzilla to 2D Cafe is about 11 minutes. This will probably be a later lunch, but if you stopped at the Shinjuku Gyoen Starbucks earlier you should be good. It’s probably around 2:30-3pm at this point.
    * Seeing as Omoido Yokocho is much cooler at night, you could spend the next few hours exploring Shinjuku. Then when the sun sets, head over there.

    Day 4:
    * If you followed this list, you’ll find that you’ve already done most of what you planned for Day 4. If Teamlab Borderless is closed or open will be the factor.
    * I would say to make this your Ueno Park day. There is an absurd amount to do in that area. Zoos, Museums. I just got back from a 2-week trip, and I went to Ueno for the first time. I decided to do the zoo on an unplanned day with no itinerary. I wish I had allocated more time. I would say that if you like museums and zoos, you may be here a while.
    * I would actually start this day with Nezu Shrine when it opens at 9:30am, then head to Ueno Park for the majority of the day.
    * If Teamlab Borderless is open by then, head there after Ueno Park.
    * If Teamlab Borderless is closed, head to Kabukicho for the cool neon covered streets at nighttime and Golden Gai if you want to grab a beer.
    * If you followed the list, you would have already seen Akihabara on Day 2

    Day 5:
    * Make this your Shibuya day.
    * Keep in mind that you already did Meiji Shrine on Day 3 if you followed this list.
    * Really, this can be a sort of “chill” day. If you need to rest up earlier in the week, just switch spots to an earlier day.
    * You could also make this your Kabukicho night if you ended up doing Teamlab Borderless on Day 4. There will be a lot of free time this day.

    Day 6:
    * Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea
    * In my experience, they’re definitely worth it. If you’re a big fan of the parks, the bummer will be that you really have to pick one park and commit to it. You will need at least a full day to experience these parks individually, so don’t go thinking you can do a half day in each park.
    * If you’re familiar with Disneyland in California or the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, my advice would be to do Tokyo DisneySea. It’s very different and has a number of unique attractions which would be unfamiliar to you. I’d also say that the rides are a little more adventurous and thrilling than the rides at Tokyo Disneyland. The lines get long though, and people start lining up two hours before opening. That’s why I would suggest doing this around the end of your trip when it might be easier to wake up at a decent time.
    * If you’re not familiar with the Disney Parks, I would suggest Tokyo Disneyland. It really is the best expression of the Disney Park brand.
    * If you decide to skip the parks, well, you now have a full day to do something else!
