Visa Expiration QUESTION

So my visa expires soon, but there’s something I’d like to attend, which exceeds my visa by 2 days.
Does anyone have an experience leaving 1 or maybe 2 days later than their visa expiration? Is it safe? Or is there some sort of form I can submit at the immigration or something? Please help.
Thank you!

  1. They’ll pull you aside at the airport and flag you as an overstayer and you’ll be banned from reentry for 5 years.

It’s a quick trip to immigration to get your visa concerted to a tourist visa to allow you to do stuff after you’ve finished working and want to enjoy the country before going home.

  2. Don’t overstay your visa. It’s a big problem if you do. Apply for an extension if you need more time.

  3. 1 day, 1 month or 1 year, overstaying is overstaying, so please pick the safest option.

  4. It is possible to apply for a visa extension even for a tourist visa, but really only for a medical emergency…

  5. Wouldn’t risk it. Overstaying is not looked upon lightly here.
