Can any real estate office introduce any apartment or rental house on the market?

I’m looking to move and I’m hoping to rent a detached house or terrace house this time around (I have permanent residence, N1). I know they’re franchises, but in my experience any shop using the name Able is utter garbage and flat out scam artists. I’ve seen some places on the usual websites that fit what I’m looking for, but then I see the online inquiry form goes to a branch of Able. Is there any way I can deal with another real estate office and have a chance at these places? Should I just call a place directly? Any advice is appreciated.

  1. Able and other such shops may sometimes upload fake listings to get you in the store, but it can’t hurt to just ask another agency about the property by sending them the link.

  2. Some landlords give the whole admin of their buildings to one of these sharks, so they have exclusive access. Others work with several agencies. So you can just ask someone else and see, if they can halp you with it.

Able is not worse than the others, they’re all about the same, though. There’s no honour or honesty in this business.

    Good luck!
