The snow is melting and they are everywhere 20-30 around the house whenever we go anywhere. We have kodomo who might try to eat them.
Anyone dealt with them before?
Advice on sealing gaps in the house?
Advice on ways to kill ‘em without harming kodomo?
They are coming from under the house.

Why would you kill them. They did nothing wrong. Pick them up and chuck them outside or get a pet chicken.
You just need to raise free range kodomo. Let it roam free and eat them. Happy and fed kodomo, squashed dango mushi, two birds with one stone.
Most kids play with dango mushi at school or daycare. Even if a kid eats one they aren’t poisonous and they don’t bite.
Your kodomo is onto something. Dango mushi are high in protein and eaten as some kind of wood snack by overly adventurous people.
