My current visa expires today but the postcard immigration sent me says I have until the 15th to pick it up. I applied 3 weeks ago and have the 2 month extension. Would it be okay if I pick it up on the 15th?
Are you leaving it until the last day due to scheduling issues? If so, you can call them and see if they’ll grant an extension on the pickup date. They might say no depending on the reason, but there’s no harm in asking.
But yes, picking it up on the 15th is fine.
Go asap. Chances are you bank accounts might be locked starting tomorrow.
If you have a my number card it will expire on the same day. If you don’t extend it with the new residence card you have to apply again.
