Hi, so my family and I are mostly gonna be in Tokyo for the duration of our stay, but we’re also visiting Yokohama for a day. I’m afraid our itinerary is a bit lacking. Any other noteworthy places you recommend that are near the ones I’ve listed below?
— Snoopy Museum
— Gundam Factory
— Negishi Forest Park

Honest answer is that if you are going to Negishi, then your only other sensible non-evening stop should be Sankei-en, which is near-by.
Gundam Factory can be easily combined with a visit to Chinatown (in the evening), Motomachi area – former foreign quarter (during day time) or Minato Mirai (Nippon Maru, Cup Noodle’s Museum, Landmark Tower, Red Brick Warehouse, Landmark Tower, several museums nearby).
Snoopy Museum is in Machida, which is a bit far from anywhere.
Take a train to Gundam factory, I walked 1 hour there from Yokohama station lmao. Worth it tho
I’m not sure what “Snoopy Museum” in Yokohama you mean— are you talking about the Snoopy Town store in Minatomirai?
If you are, then yeah there’s lots to do around there— walk along the harbor of Minatomirai, check out Nippon Maru ship, hang out at the Cosmo World amusement park, go to the Cup Noodle Museum, shop at Red Brick Warehouse or see if they have a special event going on…
If you’re going to Negishi Park, you’re not too far from Sankeien, which is a lovely garden. There’s also the historic buildings in the Yamate/Bluff area.
And definitely Chinatown, which is close to the Gundam Factory.
The ramen museum is a good place to go.
We spent hours in Yokohama Chinatown. Highlight of our Yokohama trip. We also went to Cup Noodle Museum that was cool. The ferris wheel at night time lights up great too.
