So Ive been looking up hair salons for when I move to Tokyo, but the ones I looked up charge atleast 6000円. Is this the standard cost in Tokyo? I live in Ibaraki currently, and pay 3000円 for a cut and wash.
When I lived in UK, I spent 22pounds (around $26) and that included a hair wash too.
Anyone know any decent and actually well priced hair salons in Tokyo? Especially for men.

QB House offers 1200 Yen (8 pounds!) hair cut. No shampoo.
If you want a cheap place it’s not necessary to go anywhere that is special for foreigners. As a woman I get my hair colored, cut and of course washed and dried for Â¥24,000 in Omotesando, so Â¥6000 for a men’s wash and cut seems reasonable, though I’m sure you can probably find it cheaper somewhere other than QB house. When I went to New York, I paid just over $300 for color cut and wash including tax and tip, so Tokyo is actually cheaper. 20% tipping in the US really kills
