Does anyone have suggestions for hair salons that can do western style hair (thin and loose curls) as well as fashion colours? Im looking for anywhere from Hiroshima to Osaka (Hiroshima, Okayama, Hyogo, Osaka). I’ve been to a few salons that claimed they knew how to treat western hair and botched it. The fashion colour is a bonus, not a necessity as long as the offer bleaching services.

I have curly hair (3c) and go to Grace Alley in Osaka. I see Takashi. His English is excellent and he worked on US west coast for a while. He does dry curly hair cuts – I wash and style but use less gel before I go. He cuts and then washes my hair after.
He doesn’t have CG products but is totally cool (even excited) for me to bring my own shampoo conditioner & products. I always spring for the microbubble wash. I even brought my Dyson last time to speed up the process but he has a regular diffuser.
I haven’t gotten dye job there but his hair cuts are fantastic. I have gotten gentle U shape with layers. First time I have liked a hair cut in Japan. I have also gotten botched dyes before that ruined my curl so I just dye or manicure myself a darker color.
