This meeting is to know each other, since he already explained the situation, he wants to move to my country, I’m pregnant and they are really happy about it , yet we haven’t met .
I have some really basic Japanese knowledge (can understand it more than speak) so he will be translating .
I don’t want to seem rude , I’m afraid I may smile too much due to stress or do something that may annoy them.
Any tips ?

1. You can’t smile to much
2. You’re not going to annoy them
3. Relax it’s going to go fine they’ll love you, impending procreation tends to make in-laws very very happy
Bring them a nice snack. Relax. It will be fine.
If they’re already happy, then you’re off to a good start. They’re just people; treat them good and go with your instincts. There’s no magic bullet you’ll find online to make this easier.
Have a shot of shochu to show dominance
Photos are a good way to bridge a language barrier. Photos of your family, pets, vacation, etc.
