We are at Disneysea and can’t use our credit cards to book things because they want to text us for 2 factor authentication and our phones are not set up for texts. My bank doesn’t allow email for that… Any suggestions?
If you are using esim for data, turn on your primary line and the texts may go through. I didn’t have international text roaming on my T-Mobile prepaid plan but as long as my regular sim was on (with no signal) and I had signal from my Ubigi esim, I was able to receive my credit card 2 factor texts. There was sometimes a few minutes lag. I wasn’t expecting to be able to receive them and had a backup card but it was a nice surprise. If you are using a pocket wifi turning off airplane mode temporarily on your phone should do the same thing.
I carried a second phone. That’s my way around it.
Call your bank.
Also, a nice reminder to everyone reading this: contact your bank and tell them you’re traveling and when before you go. They can flag your account/card to prevent this from happening.

They should have a call option
