Just curious how easy it is to find oat milk in Japan. I’ve seen a lot of people able to find soy milk and even some almond milk, but I can’t seem to find much info on oat milk. I’m wondering about a carton of milk not just at a starbucks/cafe.

It’s available at my local supermarkets in Tokyo.
Been seeing more and more oat milk in Japan. Some local markets have Japanese brands, and Kaldi and Jupiter sometimes sell Oatly
Oat milk seems to be appearing in markets more frequently recently. I’ve seen various brands at Kaldi (some Japanese brand), My Basket (Alpro), Queen’s Isetan (Oatly), and other stores. I tried a few, and they were mostly good except for Alpro – I think the additives make it taste funny. Oatly is good.
I found more info about alternate milk products in Japan on this blog post, although it’s a couple years old: [https://marketshake.gourmetpro.co/p/beyond-milk-3-shelf-sweep](https://marketshake.gourmetpro.co/p/beyond-milk-3-shelf-sweep)
My local Precce supermarket has it
Go to Amazon and type ‘オートミルク’.
I see actually more than one brand of it at my local supermarket, and I’m in a smaller town in the Hiroshima prefecture, so you’ll probably be able to find it most anywhere.
It’s not so hard to make
You can order quite a few different oat milk brands via Amazon.
Both my local supermarkets carry it
Costco sells it.
Seiyu tend to sell it
I’ve seen it in most supermarkets I visit around my area like Keio store, Yaoko, Aeon type stores. Expensive but not bad. They have a Japanese brand and sometimes an imported brand. I’ve also seen Alpro, small bottles tho
