What’s the diference between the sound of the sh- and the j-? Because I’m study kanjis and when I hear the sound of し and じ I can’t difference them, It sounds the same to me.
Tbh you need to find a hiragana alphabet song on YouTube
No shame I sing one to this day
Are you German or Swiss by any chance? I know people from around there often have trouble with ch and j sounds. ‘Sheep’, ‘cheap’, and ‘jeep’ are all supposed to sound different in English.

This might help, because neither the Japanese “sh” nor “j” are found in most dialects of English: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voiceless_alveolo-palatal_fricative
