Heating up is cheaper than changing.
The water won’t usually cool down to the temperature of the cold water from the tap, so you would heat it up less than new water.
Also if you have used the water from the bath to rinse yourself instead of using the shower, there will be less water to heat up (not much less, but still).

To hiijack this thread, if I use the reheat thing, will it have dirty water left in it when I drain the bath? Won’t it dirty my next bath?
I recommend changing the water after the 3rd dip.
