Just as the title states I’m looking for a knitting circle or group in the Tokyo area. I know where I can find yarn, but I’m wondering if anyone knows and English or foreign friendly knitting groups. I’ve tried searching online but haven’t had any success. So I figured I’d at least ask here.

There’s a group on Facebook called “Yarn, threads, and friends (Tokyo)” that has monthly meet-ups. Unfortunately, they’re all on weekdays during work hours for the most part, so I haven’t been able to go.
But I’d you’re in the Ikebukuro/Shinjuku area, and can meet up after work hours/on weekends I’d love to have a knitting buddy!

I see several groups in there. I’m not a member myself, but my hobby has groups in Tokyo that organize via Meetup, and it is a lovely website for finding groups in an area.
