trying to buy a concert ticket

hi, i’m currently living in the states; i really wanted to go to a voice actor concert happening this may, and the sales for the non-fanclub tickets are opening tomorrow. i have a friend in japan who told me she was willing to buy a ticket for me (but she won’t be attending). does anyone know if this sounds like a feasible idea? the ticket would be bought through rakuten or eplus, and i was wondering how i’d be able to access an electronic ticket if they sent one through the app (which i cannot install on my phone as it’s not offered in the states), how the confirmation of IDs work, etc. has anyone done something similar before?

ofc this is if i even win the lottery but 🥲 thought i would ask just in case

  1. Usually they have a convenience store option and your friend can pay and pick up the ticket there, then give it to you when you arrive.

Or they sometimes have online app versions, but you’ll only need the QR code. Your friend could screenshot it and send it to you.

Some big events have an entry schedule where you are assigned a letter or number for when your can enter the event space.
