Itinerary Check: 12 Days, March 18th to March 31st

This is pretty much my first travel outside the States excluding Canada and the one when I was like 8 years old. It’s exciting but I’m also worried in general. It’s going to be a family and friend trip but I will be solo for more than half of the trip alone.

My major concern in Japan is the transportation. I’m so worried that I will get lost and take the wrong train, etc. I just hope my group and I will be able to figure it out together and then I will be fine on my own.

To start, I am a huge fan of the anime, manga, and the outdoors (in no particular order). There are a few things that I really care about and I can’t seem to find much about them when I googled them in this subreddit.

Here are a few of the things that I really care about and I would appreciate it if anyone have any tips for merchandise related to the following (can’t seem to find anything for these two when searching this subreddit).

Are there any good recommendations for things to do in the morning on Days 11 to 14? I probably won’t mind keep going to Ueno Park in the morning but maybe a little bit of variety should be nice as well. I believe almost every day I have planned to watch some cherry blossoms, one way or another. I’m hoping it would look amazing when I’m there.

I’m not planning to have my luggage in Kyoto because I wasn’t sure if I would end up buying many things there. I’m mainly shopping in Osaka and Tokyo as of right now. Or should I have my luggage delivered from Airport to Kyoto to Osaka and then to Tokyo just in case?

Thank you for reading this long post and I would like to hear any/all feedbacks about my current plans.
