14-Day Itinerary Gut Check – First Time to Japan – Osaka, Koyosan, Nara, Kyoto, Kanasawa, Takayama, Tokyo

Rough Summary: mid-30s solo traveler, first time in Japan but frequent traveler to SEA, KR, CH (pre-covid), visiting for the food, culture, people, history, etc. Airline tickets are booked, but no accommodations or tickets, because I’m having a hard time locking down my itinerary.

I know it’s a pretty packed itinerary, but I’d like to consider this trip to be my sampler experience until I return. Any general tips or does anything look too insane? Am I ignoring something too awesome? Thank you in advance!

  1. Omg I’m so glad you posted this. I’m also in the same boat. It is so challenging to kick down an it’s weary! Following to learn!

  2. Cool itinerary. Quite packed.

You don’t want to see and hike a bit mount Fuji?

June 3 – Akihabara, if you are not a hardcore Otaku, you pretty much explored it in an afternoon. You can add Shinjuku for the evening. It has pretty neons
