My first attempt at a Lawson style tamago sando

  1. I usually see tamago sand where the egg has been mashed into egg salad first. Sometimes they leave half of an unmashed egg in the middle for looks, but its still surrounded with egg salad.

    I’m sure this tastes good, and the presentation is nice. I think it would be hard to eat, as large chunks of unmashed egg threaten to fall out of the sandwich. If it were me I’d also boil the egg for 1 additional minute to get the hard-boiled yellow yolk for the sandwich. Soft boiled is great for soup, but I don’t usually see that in sandwiches.

  2. I’ve had a tamago sando that had a half of a boiled egg surrounded by mash egg a filling. It’s pretty good!

  3. I wish Japanese people had an AmericanFood subreddit where they post pictures of their attempts at “7-11 style gas station hotdogs” with beautiful garnishes and a PBR artfully placed in the background

  4. An egg sandwich and a chuhai combination?Whether it is good to say that it is a good match.But I guess you have your own preferences.
