Hi,
I am planning to host a company party event with around 150 guests and I am searching for a decent venue or a dining bar in the Tokyo area that can be rented out for an evening. I have a team and I would like to be able to decorate it too. Budget is not so much of a concern for me now. The primary concern is actually finding a place that has venue owners experienced with hosting this sort of events for large groups (so communications don’t get awkward or messy when I bring up logistic discussions and fees). I would prefer it if it had a nomihoudai and a food plan.
Has anyone been in a similar situation before and if so could you recommend me a venue/dining bar? And if you know anyone who can help find such a venue could you point me to one? (Preferably someone that has past experience in this).
Thank you!

It’s like airbnb but for event spaces.
If you have a decent budget many of the nicer hotels have event spaces and are used to hosting events. And they have staff that are used to all the logistics and details. I can recommend the Grand Hyatt, The Conrad and the Peninsula. The Andaz, is pretty good, too. Tokyo American Club is a good option, as well. Restaurants can be tricky as if it is actually a good one, taking it over for a whole night can be expensive.
Lots of restaurants have party and rental plans, with the number of people they can fit and the per head cost on their website. My company previously rented out Ruby Jack’s and XEX Atago Hills, and they were both great venues with good food and nomihoudai.
You can try a hotel; you can rent out a restaurant for ca 1.5M and they will able to arrange A/V
