Kanji name for application form?

I’m not sure if this is the correct reddit to ask this in but I couldn’t figure out which one to go to so my apologies if I’m in the wrong place!

I’m planning to enter a lottery to get concert tickets for when I’m going to Japan this summer and the lottery requires kanji/kana name registeration. I was wondering if it’s possible to write my name in latin alphabet for the kanji spot and then in katakana for kana? Or should I have a kanji name to apply? Is it usually possible to write in latin alphabet for stuff like this or does it really require a kanji name, does anyone know? It’s probably going to be hard to be let in the concert if my name in my identification card isn’t the same as in application right haha I’m kinda stressed about it going wrong if I end up getting the tickets

  1. You can almost always input hiragana or katakana into the kanji field.

There are tons of Japanese who don’t have first names that use kanji.
