The rule of thumb seems to be that about 50% of those making the interview get offered a place on JET. The US seems to be the most competitive area so it might be a bit less than that in NY.
All that said, if you came across as a sane friendly person in the interview you have a very good chance of being on the JET program later this year. Good luck!
I think you’re worried about it too much. I understand, because I’m in the same boat rn and trying not to overthink. But knowing the statistics won’t help your chances. Just do your best. Good luck!
