  1. I always see people fishing from the rocks along the coast of the Miura Peninsula . Between Miyagawa Port and Bishamon Bay. There is a well known hiking course along that stretch of coast. In Yokohama, check out Isogo Fishing Piers.

  2. The mouth of the Tama river is huge for fishing, there’s a park there and a long walkway along the tidal zone that I’m to lazy to look up again – great for sea bass and rock fish and red dace when they’re moving into the river to spawn.

Jonanjima Seaside Park 城南島海浜公園 you will see people fishing along the bay side, bonus you get to watch ships/planes moving around and have a great view of downtown.

Shiokaze Park 潮風公園 also has people fishing

Wakasu Outdoor Center Fishing Store 若洲フィッシングストア at the park.

Further up in Chiba near Disney there are several parks with lots of people fishing.

  3. I haven’t caught anything but have seen people catch sea bass and have seen クロダイ(Black Sea Bream) at Toyosu Gururi Park (豊洲ぐるり公園). You have to walk a bit to get to the areas where you can fish but it’s a pretty wide area.

As bulldogdiver mentioned near the mouth of the Tama River is great.
