Sorry if this might be out of the scope of this thread, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to install a better text to speech voice on Windows? I can’t be the only one who’s been annoyed with it. The Samsung Japanese text to speech on my phone sounds so much more realistic, and typically uses correct pitch accent patterns, etc. The “Microsoft Ayumi” voice is so bad… Is there any way at all I can replace it, so I can use it to listen to sentences more accurately when I don’t have a native speaker to say it to me? I’m really hoping there’s at least someone in here who was tired of it and figured out how to overwrite it with a better voice… This voice takes over for almost everything on my computer except Google Translate, so I don’t know what to do… And Google Translate isn’t all that realistic either, but it’s much, much better than Microsoft Ayumi, so I’d be happy if I was only able to switch it to the Google Translate Japanese voice!!
