Had completely forgotten that was today. Everyone in Yamagata city that I have seen today is still wearing masks. Nothing changed up here. First day though so people are probably waiting to see how everyone around them responds.
Japan might. My employer won’t. They even mandate what masks we can and can not wear.
It was always up to the individual. outside of business situations.
