Accidentally Bought a Ticket for a Concert in the Wrong City

I was trying to buy a ticket for Black Country, New Road’s show in Osaka next month. The tickets are being sold through a site that I won’t post, but when I selected the Osaka Event and then selected tickets, the tickets at the top (the only ones on screen without scrolling down a decent bit) were all for Tokyo. Problem is, they didn’t state the tickets were for Tokyo. They were simply listed as 一般阪売, so the only way to tell was by final date they would be for sale, or scroll down off the screen to see that there was another selection of tickets for the correct date.

The site is refusing to change my ticket or refund. I think I have a decent case for a charge back, but was wondering about any potential ramifications associated with doing so before contacting my card company. Any help anyone could offer would be much appreciated.

  1. It sounds like you didn’t check hard enough before buying. If you’re so sure that the website had technical problem, you can try to call the support and see what they have to say. Was it eplus or lawson?

  2. You might be able to charge back, but you will probably be banned from the site.
