Is TUJ better than a normal Japanese degree if you want to work outside of Japan?

I’ve been seeing comments about how Japanese degrees are worth close to nothing outside of Japan, and/or how an English program degree from a Japanese university (e.g: SILS in Waseda, Keio Pearl, FLA in Sophia) is useless in Japan.

I’m honestly not sure what’s right or wrong, it likely depends on the person. But I currently am in a Japanese university lowkey considering dropping out or transferring out of my school, and the feeling grew bigger after seeing conversations regarding how “”useless”” Japanese degrees are outside (I do want to work outside of Japan too so….)

Then, I remembered TUJ is an American university in Japan, and I was wondering whether getting a degree in TUJ would be worth more outside and/or inside Japan, or they’re equally “”worthless”” as Japanese degrees to foreign companies.

It would be great if anyone can share their insights about Japanese degrees, whether TUJ is better, etc.! Thank you:)
