So this is something I’ve always wondered.
I enjoy anime, I like Highschool of the dead, Prison School, Highschool DxD and I’m currently on my first episode of golden boy.
I always find the fan service pervy anime are usually hilarious and have a very boyish charm. However theres always trends of the way people in the anime act, the school culture.
As an example in DxD, Rias Gremory runs the occult research club, protagonist treats her like a queen and I notice this a lot, like it seems as if schools in Japan take things very seriously like the events they host and all sorts. The students get very serious roles within the school and can run various clubs and events.
Thats just one example but a lot of these shows all have these little nuances in them that sometimes don’t even drive the plot forward.
It’s always made me wonder what life in Japan is like? Obviously all of these are works of fiction but how much of it is grounded in reality? Is this really what school and work culture is like? Do people really act like this or are there people out there that these works will have been based on?
Its all just interesting and was often something I wondered about
