Is there an app that will help you pronounce Japanese language better? I know there are apps that sound the words out to you but I’m looking for one that actually listens to what you actually say and provides corrections / feedback so it is more accurate or understandable.

Language exchange apps are good for this, there are lots of japanese that will help you with your pronunciation
For my first few months of studying Japanese, I used an older Rosetta Stone pronunciation “module”. I thought it was OK but my Japanese teachers disagreed.
Some beginner textbooks have basic pronunciation guides with audio to “shadow”. Ask Publishing makes an excellent phonetics textbook (all audio files and a few PDF pages are free in this sample):
