Itinerary Check: First time traveler – Tokyo Kyoto April 7-15

Hello everyone and thank-you for any help offered. This will be my first time travelling internationally, let alone to Japan, so I’m a bit nervous and looking for any helpful advice and tips.

Right now my itinerary looks like:
Day 1-April 7th

* Sleep.

Day 2-Hoping to see some Cherry Blossoms still

* Kyoto Imperial Palace
* Hirano Jinja Shrine
* Ryoan-Ji
* \-KinkaKuji (if not too late/too crowded.)
* Maruyama park at night

Day 3-Last full day in Kyoto

* Explore shinjuku (adidas, Sanrio for friends). Piss alley, Golden Gai

Day 6

* Senso-ji Temple
* Nakimase Dori (umbrella shopping? Clear with Sakura blossoms when it rains.) Kaminarimon gate.
* Hat coffee/Yakitori Torinao/Tonkatsu Sugita?
* Kappabashi kitchen knife shopping (need to ship back to Canada?)
* Wander through Ueno park
* Akihibara (ishibashi for dinner?) (Not the biggest into anime so any time spent there is fine)

Day 7

* Need to get up EARLY for Sushi Dai or Daiwa Sushi in Toyosu market
* Wander the market
* Teamlab planets?Borderless?
* Rainbow bridge view/Shibapark/Tokyo Tower->Imperial palace?
* Ginza Art Aquarium
* Ichiran Shimbashi for dinner?

Day 8

* Blue bottle coffee / Cafe Reissue 3d latte art
* Takeshita Dori / Wander Harajuku
* Shibuya Crossing/Shibuya Sky
* Go back to where I enjoyed at afternoon/night

Day 9

* Depending on flight time, check out something I liked or didn’t see yet that friends enjoyed.

Are there days where it’s too….packed? Things that I should shift around to work better? I’m hoping to catch the tail end of the cherry blossoms, but overall I’m just looking to try and get a taste of Japan, of travel, with this trip. I’ll be solo for a lot of it, but will know friends in Tokyo area who can help me out if I get too lost.

Thank-you!
