Meiji Jingu is adjacent to, basically a part of, Yoyogi Park

    >May 16th – Osaka

    >May 17th – 19th day trips to Kyoto

Why don’t you stay in Kyoto and just do a day trip to Osaka? There’s so much more you want to do in Kyoto. I know it’s only like a 15 minute train ride, so it doesn’t *really* matter, but it does strike me as odd.

    >May 23rd – trip to hotel near Lake Kawaguchi

Personally I’d just do this on the way back from Osaka.

    >Activate 7 day JR (if needed, we will do the JR calculator at a future date)

I’ve done enough of these that I can confidently say it’ll save you a bit of money.
