Hi guys, I’ve been looking for anyone with an experience similar to mine and I haven’t been able to find anything so I decided to just ask myself. I’m in the interview process with a start up company in Tokyo and they obviously don’t have as much information readily available for foreigners as some of the more traveled pathways. Has anybody here moved for a smaller company and was it more or less difficult to establish yourself?
Some background, I speak business level Japanese and I spent a little over 6 months in Japan during 2019. l have a small network there already so I’m mostly just worried about logistics of living there on my own and what I should expect to have to take care of myself vs what I might receive some help with.
Edit: I’m not confused about the visa process either, just the actually being there part.
