Kyoto-Osaka Itenerary Check (May 9 – 12)

I have a short trip unfortunately and as a 1st time international traveller, I wish to check-out all the must see in Kyoto and Osaka. I hope I got this all figured out quite a bit haha. Suggestions/comments are welcome. And this sub also helped me out quite a bit in planning. Hope this checks out. Thank youuuu so much!

DAY 1 – May 9, 2023 (KYOTO)

9:05am-2:15pm Manila to Osaka (Kansai Airport)

3:15pm-4:35pm Kansai Airport to Kyoto Station

5:00pm-5:15pm Train from Kyoto Station to Hotel (Solaria)

6:30-7:30pm Kyoto Tower

8:00-10:30pm Komagawa River, Gion District, Pontocho Alley 

 

DAY 2- May 10, 2023 (NARA-KYOTO)

6:40am-7:40AM Hotel to Nara

8:00-11:00am Nara Tour (Breakfast at Starbucks Nara, Nara Park, Todaiji Temple)

11:10-12:05pm Nara to Kyoto

12:00-1:30pm Fushimi Inari Taisha, Lunch at Food Market

1:40pm-2:30pm Fushimi to Arashiyama

3:00-4:30pm Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

4:30pm-5:10pm Arashiyama to Hotel

6:00-11:00pm Shopping, Manga Museum, Dinner (Gion District, Pontocho Alley)

 

DAY 3- MAY 11, 2023 (KYOTO-OSAKA)

7:00-7:30am Hotel to Sanneizaka

8:00-9:30am Breakfast at Sanneizaka (Starbucks Kyoto)

10:00-10:35am Sanneizaka to Kyoto Imperial Palace

10:35-11:30am Kyoto Imperial Palace

11:30-11:45am Imperial to Hotel

12noon – Checkout of Hotel

12:30-1:30pm Lunch at Kyoto (near sa hotel)

1:30-2:00pm Hotel to Kyoto Station

2:00-2:30pm Kyoto sta. to Osaka sta. 

2:30-3:00 Osaka Station to Hotel Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba

3:00pm Check in at Hotel Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba

4:00pm-4:30pm Hotel to Abeno Harukas

4:30-6:00pm Abeno Harukas Observatory and Museum

6:00-6:30pm Abeno to Dotonburi

6:30-11:00pm Shopping and Food trip at Dotonburi, Namba

 

DAY 4- MAY 12, 2023 (OSAKA)

7:00-8:00am Breakfast somewhere

8:00-10:30am Shopping in Namba, Light Lunch/Snack 

10:30am Check out

11am-12:10pm Hotel to Kansai International Airport

    First question, where are you traveling from? Because depending on your answer, this 1st day might be *really* tough due to jetlag.

  2. On day 2 you should go to Fushimi Inari first. It’s on the way to Nara and if you wait and go at noon it’s going to be really crowded
