Japanese Business Etiquette In Email

I have been in contact with a Japanese media company. The conversation started in Japanese (my friend translated my emails). The party switched to English once they found out I was American. I replied in English and they stopped replying. They simply asked what information I wanted and they’d get back to me once I told them, which I did.

Is there an appropriate amount of time to wait before following up or should I not follow up? There is also a phone number attached to the email. It has been almost a week since I last heard from the company. Any assistance in this is appreciated.
