Sorry if this is a silly question but would I be able to find Betadine gargle solution or an equivalent in Tokyo?
I have the occasional sore throat and find that gargling with Betadine helps immensely. I’ll be going to Tokyo and a few other cities next week and am trying to pack as light as possible so- being a might-not-need item- I don’t exactly wanna lug my Betadine bottle along if I would be able to buy it in Tokyo.
I was in Osaka a few years back and couldn’t find a brand of antihistamine that I normally use so thought I’d check.

Not sure where you can find that type of antiseptic, but salt water rinse can also help in a pinch.
The active ingredient in betadine appears to be povidone-iodine.
It’s available over the counter at most pharmacies, here is an example of one brand:
