I see this phrase a lot in anime, i know it roughly translates to “even if you say that…” but what is the hidden meaning behind this phrase? I guess it would be something like “even if you say that, there is nothing i can’t do”.
Yeah, I read it as something like “yes, that can be said to be true…” or more succinctly, “you could say that”, or “that could be said”, with the implication being “but, that actually isn’t the case here”
