Hey everyone! I’m going with a group of 4 to Japan for the first time ever. I have my itinerary roughly planned for out but want to get any suggestions and ideas this community might have. This is a 22 day trip. We are traveling from Tokyo -> Kyoto -> Osaka -> Sapporo. Lodging, flights, and car rental are booked.
Is there anything I’m overlooking? I understand that some days I don’t have fully planned (just the area). I planned most of this trip using google maps and it seems like its all doable. I know it’s not a super extensive itinerary
Please I would love any suggestions.

**1. Tokyo / Haneda Airport (Wednesday April 12th)**
* Arrive at Haneda Airport (around 2:00pm JST)
* Get Mobile hotspot/ wifi
* Get Cash from 7/11
* Check into hotel (near Shinjuku station) for 5 nights.
* Grab Ichiran Ramen (I don’t care if it’s overated. I’m going to give it a try and order it how Strictly Dumpling YT orders it lol)
* Go to Shisha Tokyo hookah to end the night

**2. Tokyo (West) (Thursday April 13th)**
* Grab some coffee
* Shinjuku Gyoen Park
* Walk around Omoide-Yokocho
* Explore the area
* Golden Gai at night
* Deathmatch in Hell bar
* Chuhai’s at 7/11 and enjoy the night
* Shinjuku Batting Center late night (closes at 5am!)
**3. Tokyo (West) (Friday April 14th)**
* Take shinjuku station to Meiji Jingu Shrine
* Explore Harajuku
* Uber to Starbucks Reserve Roastery
* Uber back to Shibuya and explore
* Eat at Gyūkatsu Motomura in Shibuya
* Hit up The Room Shibuya for some live jazz

**4. Tokyo (Central) (Saturday April 15th)**
* Eat at Fuunji ramen in Shinjuku
* Explore Akihabara
* Visit Super Potato & Arcade fighting game type of day
* \*Any recommendations for this day in the surrounding area?

**5. Tokyo – Shimokitazawa (Sunday April 16th)**
* Go to “Flamingo” vintage clothing thrift shop
* Hit up a couple thrifting stores in the area (around 6 i was recommended all close by)
* Go to “Upstairs Records & Bar” for a drink
* Go to “Shimokitazawa THREE” for some live music to end the night.

**6. Tokyo (Chuo) (Monday April 17th)**
* Check out of hotel in Shinjuku
* Drop off luggage and check into new hotel in Chuo (staying for 3 nights
* Go to Tsukiji Outer Market
* Teamlab Planets TOKYO reservation in evening
* Tokyo Skytree at night

**7. Tokyo (Tuesday April 18th)**
* Tokyo Disney sea opening to close

**8. Tokyo (Wednesday April 19th)**
* Ghibli Museum reservation early AM

* Travel back to Chuo area
* Mixology Salon near Ginza for drinks
* Explore and eat in Ginza

**9. Tokyo -> Kyoto (Thursday April 20th)**
* Check out of hotel
* Take Shinkansen early morning to Kyoto
* Check into hotel in Central Kyoto
* Kiyomizu-dera temple
* Go to Starbucks Kyoto
* Yasaka Shrine
* Eat dinner at Kichi Kichi Omurice in evening

**10. Kyoto (North) (Friday April 21st)**
* Ryoan-Ji temple garden early morning
* Kinkaku-ji temple
* Travel by uber to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
* Take train or bus to hotel near Nishiki Market
* Go to “in the moon” rooftop bar for drinks and food

**11. Kyoto (Saturday April 22nd)**
* Explore Higashiyama Ward
* Eat dinner at Aje Kiyamachi Donguri

* Visit Fushimi Inari shrine early morning
* Day trip to Nara
* Nara Park

* Travel back to hotel in Kyoto

**13. Kyoto -> Himeji -> Osaka (Monday April 24th)**
* Check out of hotel in Kyoto early am
* Take Shinkansen to Himeji castle and Explore area
* Travel back to Osaka
* Check into hotel near Dotonbori (Staying at hotel for 3 nights)
* Walk around. Drink and grab food in the area.

* Drive to Onsen in Noboribetsu for 1 night

* Morning hike at Noboribetsu hell valley
* Drive to Sapporo in rental
* Check into Airbnb near Hokkaido Shrine
* Check out cherry blossoms at the park
* Explore area
**18. Sapporo (Saturday April 29th)**
* Grab pastries at Kinotoya Bake
* Sapporo beer museum
