Hello, all, I have planned and bought plane ticket for 26 April-9 May. When I went the first time I visited Osaka, Nara, Hiroshima, Mount Fuji, Miyajima Islands, so I excluded them from the list.
This is my initial plan, however I still need to fill some gaps.
The only missing “part” is the north of Japan/Hokkaido, I saw they have cherry blossom in late April.
Wondering if it’s a good idea to fly from Tokyo to Sapporo, spend all day in parks, stay 1 night at a hotel and return the second day to Tokyo. The biggest downside I see here is the time spent on traveling, event if the plane takes 2 hours, the preparation itself can take up to 5 hours till I arrive in the city center from what I’ve calculated.

26 April: arriving at Narita
27: visiting Akihabara, Ueno Park
28: visiting Ginza, Ghibli Museum
29: Yokohama: Nippon Maru and Yokohama Port Museum, Minato Mirai, Noodle Museum
30: undecided, maybe day trip Nikko

Kyoto:
1 May: arriving at hotel, Fushimi Inari Shrine
2: visiting Kyoto Railway Museum, Mibu-dera temple (Mibu Kyōgen Event)
3: event Yabusame Shinji, Gion
4: day trip Nagoya: Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology & other places nearby

Fukuoka:
5: arriving in Fukuoka, exploring the city
6: more exploring around/undecided
7: day trip: Nagasaki: Nagasaki Peace Park, Chinatown, Meganebashi Bridge, Urakami Cathedral
8: day trip Kagoshima: Sakurajima volcano
9: back to Tokyo/Narita Airport

You aware your trip is during golden week? If you haven’t already book everything immediately
Keep in mind there are *tons* of other types of flowers in spring. If you seek out the less popular spots it’ll be much less crowded too, especially on weekdays. Google city name + month + flowers and you’ll find lots of good ideas. I’d use that extra day in Tokyo to head out to [Ashikaga Flower Park](https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3850.html) and see the wisteria if they are blooming during your visit. Check their website for official blooming calendars as they update then based on weather. They are lit up at night too.
