Tuxedo kitten still looking for her forever home.

*MOD APPROVED*

We can’t understand why everyone is passing this little sweetie by.

Wednesday was found Halloween night all alone weighing only 400 grams with a terrible respiratory infection and gummed up eyes. She made a quick recovery but was found to be FIV positive. Unfortunately very common for street cats.

FIV has no cure but positive cats can live long, healthy lives with proper care. Chances of spreading the disease to other cats is almost zero provided everyone is neutered and friendly. FIV cannot be transmitted through grooming or sharing food bowls or litter boxes.

Wednesday is very friendly, talky and high energy. She needs a lot of attention and playtime. Hoping she can go to a home with other cats.

She wants to be whenever you are. So if your preferred cat personality is Overly Attatched Girlfriend Meme then this is the cat for you.

I am fostering Wednesday at my home for Kawakuji Animal Rescue. Kawakuji is located in Ibaraki but adoptions to the greater Kanto area are possible. Adoption includes, minimally, an application, a phone interview, a home check, proof of landlord approval, a 20,000円 Adoption fee and transport costs.

Wednesday is neutered, vaccinated twice, micro chipped and treated for fleas and parasites.

Thank you for reading!

We’ve found homes for several cats through these posts. We appreciate everyone’s support!

  1. Awww! Looks like a sweetie. Sadly I can’t have pets otherwise I would. Hopefully someone comes along.

  2. I think the majority of us gaijin want Wednesday, but between being at work 5 days a week for long periods of time, and not so pet friendly apartments. It’s kinda impossible

  3. Gah, I would love to but our apartment has a cap of one cat per unit. I even checked our lease and yep. Suuuuucks. I hope Wednesday finds a loving home soon ❤️

My resident senior cat loves kittens and I would love or give her a playmate one day once we move out of our current place and into a more pet-friendly place.

Edit to add: looks like my tuxedo back in America 🥰🥰🥰 she’s my mom’s cat and has the same markings and pink nose. Brings back memories

  4. If it’s still possible in June, I would love to. Had 2 cats, one with a similar personality.

  5. We’ve just adopted our first 10 month old cat. Been just over 24 hours now, and we get to keep him for two weeks as a trial. We’ve already decided we want him, but we still need to get him and our other two cats to accept one another. I’m sure it will work out little by little.
