WFH office furniture

I’m looking to rent and furnish my own place, and given that my employer is remote, looking for good office furniture and would love recommendations. I’ve browsed Amazon JP and it seems the prices for desks and chairs appear to be cheaper then US equivalent offerings. Is there a catch?

PS: I’m familiar with FB groups where you buy used furniture and I’m not interested.

  2. I’ve bought a good amount of things from Amazon.jp, Rakuten, Nitori, etc. I would only say to make sure the reviews are decent and know the dimensions of your place.
I would recommend to consider buying from products who have reviews with pictures and/videos as well. It will make things easier to trust.

  3. With the number of really questionable Chinese white-label companies that have been filling Amazon with shady listings, you may want to become familiar with [Sakura Checker](https://sakura-checker.jp/) which analyzes Amazon Japan links and evaluates their authenticity/reliability based on the quality of the reviews, ratings spreads and a bunch of other things.

If you’re a Chrome user, the [Sakura Check Linker](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sakura-check-linker/dmelpckhjikcpmppkcnjmjmedhjpjmce?hl=ja) extension will just embed SC links into the listing itself.
