Hi there everyone! I’ve been using games as a means to immerse myself in Japanese for a long time now and was really captured by the look and what I’ve hard about Final Fantasy 9. I saw a Reddit post from 3 years ago where someone had linked a mod they found for JP Subtitles in this subreddit, however the link didn’t work, so if anyone knows what this was, or has the mod/knows where to download it that would be greatly appreciated! I love learning Japanese through video games and find it to be the funnest way to immerse for me and I’ve wanted to try out a Final Fantasy for a while so it’d be great if anyone could post it here. よろしくね Have a great day,

It seems like you have to swap a .dll file to enable it for the Steam version but the download link was broken on the post that talked about it. An alternative would just be to download the original Japanese PSX iso and play it on Retroarch or ePSXe or whatever.
